Who writes our content

Every page on HomeCalc Helper is written and reviewed by the HomeCalc Helper Editorial Team. Our calculators and guides are researched from manufacturer data and trade references, and every formula is tested against hand-computed values before publishing.

We don't publish guesses: quantities are cross-checked against manufacturer coverage data and trade-accepted estimating methods, and each calculator's worked example is verified against the tool itself before the page goes live.

No calculator goes live on HomeCalc Helper until it passes all four checks:

  3. Automated tests. 72 test checks run against every calculator before each publish — any failure blocks the release.
  4. Live verification. After deploying, we load the live page and confirm the numbers match before calling it done.

How the calculators work

Every calculation runs entirely in your browser using standard, published conversion factors and trade-accepted estimating methods. We do not collect your measurements, require accounts, or send your data anywhere.
